Stunning Ocean View In Charming Gualala Art Village

SeaWatch welcomes you to a different kind of "beach house" with a bright well lit exposure to the ocean and beach you come to a place like Gualala to enjoy. Your  bentrance into the great room with cathedral ceiling and fireplace as well as the overall nautical theme makes you feel at once at home. It's a warm place to interact with family &/or friends with the living, dining room and kitchen coming together as a great room. It also makes a very cozy place to relax with a good book or take in the HD LCD television and the sound of the entertainment system.

Kids, or their parents, will enjoy the board games or the ping pong table in the attached garage along with the safe dart board. Take a short walk down the road to Trinks Cafe near the Gualala Bluff Trail for delicious coffee, bakery goodies or even lunch. For a great barbecue place, Bones Roashouse, just a block further has a pool table the kids will like with motorcycle and car memorabilia they'll love.  For outstanding gourmet fare try nationally famous St. Orres Inn just 3-4 miles north of SeaWatch.

SeaWatch can be either a base for great day trips or a romantic place to refocus and renew. Just to "Take Time to Sit by the Sea" on the south Mendocino coast. We welcome you to share this with us.

Open a window and listen to the surf! The upper and lower balcony decks give all a chance to take in the sea air while enjoying a book or a glass of wine. A gas barbecue gives you menu options and a tasty meal. These are just a few of the things we enjoy at SeaWatch, and you can too.

Community Amenities
  • Gualala lies within the “Banana Belt”, a nearly fogless micro-climate involving about five miles of coastline from Gualala thru Anchor Bay. While the wind blows onshore for the rest of the coast it is practically offshore here, keeping the fog from drifting in. When the marine layer of fog blankets the coastline, to the north and south, Gualala often basks under clear blue skies watching the huge bank of fog offshore.
  • The village of Gualala lies at the southernmost edge of Mendocino County along Shoreline Highway One and perches on the bluffs overlooking the Gualala River and the Pacific Ocean beyond. Just ¼ mile east of Highway One is the magnificent Gualala Arts Center, which hosts ongoing art openings and exhibits, concerts and live theatrical productions, lectures, classes and both arts-related & community events.
  • The beautiful Gualala River runs to the sea right in front of the village, and is home to river otter, osprey, egret, heron and many varieties of flora. Along the coast you can even see migrating whales from time to time.
  • The famous Sea Ranch Golf Course, a Scottish style course, is just a mile or so away. A great, scenic round of 18 holes in a grand north coast of California setting ! Other Activities:
  • Kayaking, wildlife viewing, art gallerying. SeaWatch is a stone's throw from Physical Gym if you need to get in that workout or Four Eyed Frog Bookstore to pick up a good read. Famed Gualala Art Center which hosts ongoing art openings and exhibits, concerts and live theatrical productions, lectures, classes and both arts-related & community events, is just 2-3 miles away. The beautiful Gualala River runs to the sea right in front of the village, and is home to river otter, osprey, egret, heron and many varieties of flora.
